Bangladeshi US-Bangla air crash survivor loses battle

DHAKA, March 27 (NsNewsWire) — Shaheen Bepari, a Bangladeshi businessman, who survived an air crash in Nepal, succumbed to burns on Monday, bringing total deaths of the plane crash to 50, reports Xinhua.
Shaheen, one of 10 Bangladeshi crash survivors, had been undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he was brought on March 18.
Samanta Lal Sen, national coordinator of burn unit at DMCH, told journalists that Shaheen, 33, who was put on life support last night, breathed his last at 4:45 p.m. local time Monday.
With the death of Shaheen, a total of 50 people, including 27 Bangladeshis, reportedly died as the private US-Bangla Airlines aircraft, with 71 people onboard, crashed and burst into flames while landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal’s Kathmandu on March 12.  Enditem
