Important Announcement Regarding Travel Restrictions For Passengers Travelling From Bangladesh To Turkey

As of 4 September 2021, entry of passengers to Turkey who travel from Bangladesh will be resumed. It will be possible to board flights of Turkish Airlines among other airline companies from Bangladesh to Turkey.

Passengers travelling from Bangladesh will continue to submit a negative PCR test result taken within the 72 hours before their arrival to Turkey.

From passengers travelling from Bangladesh or who have been in Bangladesh in the last 14 days,

-Ones who can prove that they are vaccinated with minimum two doses of vaccines which have been granted emergency use authorization by either World Health Organization or the Government of Turkey (two doses of Sinovac, Biontech, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Sinopharm, etc.; one dose of Johnson&Johnson) and 14 days have passed since the application of the last dose, will be exempted from all types of quarantine while entering Turkey.

-Ones who cannot prove that they are vaccinated with minimum two doses of vaccines (one dose for Johnson&Johnson) which have been granted emergency use authorization by either World Health Organization or the Government of Turkey and 14 days have passed since the application of the last dose, will be subject to quarantine at their residences or addresses which they state upon entry to Turkey. They will get PCR tested on the 10th day and if test result is negative, home quarantine will be lifted. Persons who do not get PCR tested on the 10th day will stay in home quarantine for 14 days. Ones whose test result is positive will follow instructions published by the General Directorate of Public Health under the Ministry of Health of Turkey.

-Passengers under 12 years of age will be exempted from submitting PCR test result and vaccination certificate.

-Flight-ship crew, seafarers identified as essential workers and truck drivers will be exempted from submitting PCR test result and vaccination certificate.
