DHAKA, Aug. 8 (NsNewsWire) — Australian High Commissioner HE Ms Julia Niblett inaugurated the International Development Program (IDP) Australia higher education exhibition at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on 8 August. Ms Niblett said, “There are many good reasons for a student from Bangladesh to consider an education in Australia. Australian universities and educational institutions enjoy an international reputationfor excellence in teaching and research, with a strong commitment to quality, high academic standards, and programs of continuous improvement.”
The Exhibition will see 30 Australian institutions in attendance for students to learn about Australian universities and institutions, including the types of courses on
offer, costs, and other important information for studying in Australia. Australia has five of the best cities in the world for students based on student mix, affordability, quality of life, and employer activity.
Each year, the Australian Government provides more than $200 million in international scholarships globally. Currently, over 6,000 Bangladeshi students are
studying in Australia and this number is growing each year.
Since 2002, Austrade has supported IDP to organise two Australian Education Excellence Showcases in Dhaka. The exhibition is free for students and will be open
from 10:00 am to 17:00 pm from 8-9 August. PRESS RELEASE
