Robi-Drishti debate competition concludes in Chattogram

The prestigious debate competition of the country, “Robi- Drishty Debate Championship 2019” has come to a closure on last Saturday in Chattogram. Drishti Debate Club has organized this premiere debating competition for the 27th year.
The closing ceremony of Robi-Drishti Debate Championship was held at the Theatre Institute Chattogram. A total of 84 educational institutions that includes 32 schools, 24 universities and 16 colleges participated in the competition.
In the school debate competition, Bangladesh Mahila Samity High School became champion by beating Chattogram Cantonment Public School and College. At the University level, the Chattogram University secure the top position by beating the Premiere University, and at the college level, Haji Muhammad Mohosin College became champion by defeating Bangladesh Navy College.
Hon’ble Information Minister, Dr. Hasan Mahmud MP handed over the prizes to the winners as chief guest. Robi’s Managing Director and CEO Mahtab Uddin Ahmed was present on the occasion as the special guest.
Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha’s (RAJUK) Member (Planning), Shamsuddin Ahmed Chowdhury, Drishti Chattogram, President, Masud Bokul, Karnaphuli Upazilla UNO, Syed Shamsul Tabrize, and Sunshine Grammar School and College’s Principal, Safia Gazi Rahman were also present at the closing ceremony.
