Ruhul Alam Siddique made new Bangladesh ambassador Portuguese Republic.

DHAKA, Sept. 27 (NsNewsWire) — The Government has decided to appoint Md. Ruhul Alam Siddique as the next Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Portuguese Republic.

A career diplomat, Md. Ruhul Alam Siddique belongs to 11th batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs). He is currently working as Director General (East Asia & Pacific Wing) in the Ministry. In his distinguished career, he served as Minister in the Bangladesh High Commission, New Delhi before his assignment as the Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Karachi. He also served in Bangladesh Embassy in Berlin & Bangladesh High Commission in Singapore in different capacities. Earlier he served in the Ministry in different capacities in Europe, Americas & Pacific, UN, South Asia and Administration wings.

Md. Ruhul Alam Siddique obtained M.S.S. in Public Administration from Dhaka University. He also did a Masters in Foreign Affairs & Trade from Monash University, Australia.
