Seven Bangladeshis injured in Beruit blasts

DHAKA, Nov. 20 (nsnewswire) — Seven Bangladeshis were injured, one critically, in Tuesday morning’s double suicide bombing outside the Iranian embassy in the Lebanese capital Beirut, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Wednesday.
Following the bomb blasts in Beirut in the morning of Nov. 19, Bangladesh authorities have been in constant touch with its embassy in the Lebanese city.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release sent via mobile Wednesday evening said it has been gathered that seven Bangladesh nationals received injury in the incidents, one being critically wounded.
All the injured have been receiving medical treatment and Bangladesh embassy in Beirut, Lebanon has been looking after their welfare.
The embassy is also in touch with the local Lebanese authorities to ensure their proper treatment.
The Bangladeshi government has been closely following the developments since the incident.
23 people were reportedly killed and 146 injured in a double suicide bombing near the Iranian embassy in Beirut. An Iranian cultural envoy to Lebanon has died of injuries sustained in the bombings.
