Ambassador Yao Wen Attends the Inauguration Ceremony of the Robotic Rehablitation Center at Bangladesh Medical University
On August 31, the Robotic Rehablitation Center at Bangladesh Medical University, aided by China, was officially inaugurated. H.E. Mr. Yao Wen, Chinese Ambassdor to Bangladesh, H.E. Ms. Nurjahan Begum, Honorable Adviser, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and Dr. Md. Sayedur Rahman, Honorable Special Assistant, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, among with others, attended the ceremony.
Ambassador Yao stated that healthcare is vital to national development and people’s well-being. The launch of the Robotic Rehablitation Center is a concrete step in implementing the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, and it will serve as a milestone in China-Bangladesh medical cooperation. China is willing to continue deepening collaboration with Bangladesh in the healthcare sector, making it a new highlight in the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries, and bringing more benefits to both peoples.
Adviser Nurjahan highly praised the irreplaceable role of the Robotic Rehablitation Center in promoting the rehabilitation of patients and improving Bangladesh’s medical standards. She expressed gratitude to China for always extending a helping hand at Bangladesh’s most critical times, and expressed hope for further cooperation to elevate bilateral relations to new heights.
