33 Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims dead in KSA

Dhaka, Sept. 10 (NsNewsWire) –This year a total of 33 Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims died between August 7 and September 8 – because of various reasons including old age complications – in Saudi Arabia.

According to the  bulletin of Ministry of Religious Affairs’ hajj management department, among the pilgrims,  24  were male and nine female.

The bulletin says  24 pilgrims died in Makkah, eight in Madinah and one in Jeddah while 17 other pilgrims are currently hospitalised in Saudi Arabia.

A total of 1,01,797 pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia from Bangladesh to perform the holy ritual which is scheduled to be held on September 11.
