DHAKA, Nov. 25 (NsNewsWire) — One person has been arrested on suspicion of spreading IS propaganda in Bangladesh.

The Detective Branch of Bangladesh Police have detained the man identified as Nahid Hossain, 25 from Dhaka’s Badda area last night.

A SMS sent by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP)  Wednesday said the man was arrested from the city’s Badda area last night.

The SMS reads, “The detainee was spreading propaganda in favour of so called IS through internet using a fake name Jihadi Jhon.”
