Bangladesh, China Pledge Stronger Ties in Beijing Talks Focused on Investment, Energy, and Trade

Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman held bilateral talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing today. Discussions focused on investment, energy cooperation, connectivity, people-to-people contacts and enhancing bilateral trade, alongside broader regional and global issues. Both sides reaffirmed commitment to the Bangladesh-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, the One-China Principle, and further elevating bilateral relations. Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Mr. Humaiun Kobir and Ambassador Mr. Md. Nazmul Islam were present during the meeting.
