Bangladesh nationals in Singapore tested positive for Zika virus

DHAKA, Sept. 6 (NsNewsWire) — Bangladesh High Commission in Singapore has been informed by the Ministry of Heath of Singapore that as of 5 September 2016, a total of 19 Bangladesh nationals working in Singapore have been tested positive for Zika virus, said a Foreign Ministry press release received here Tuesday.

According the Ministry of Heath of Singapore, the patients are presented with mild symptoms and have either recovered or recovering. They are being taken care of by the Ministry of Heath of Singapore.

Bangladesh High Commission in Singapore has been in constant touch with the concerned authorities of Singapore and monitoring the situation.
