Bangladesh, UAE ink treaties on security, extradition

DHAKA, Oct. 28 (NsNewsWire) — Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates have signed three agreements on prisoners’ extradition, security collaboration and land allotment for the gulf state’s embassy in Dhaka.
The deals were signed on Monday after both countries’ premiers — Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum– held talks.
The deals were singed in presence of both the leaders, sources said.
According to the sources, The “Agreement on Security Cooperation” and the “Agreement on Transfer of Sentenced Prisoners” were signed by were signed by Bangladeshi State Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Saif bin Zaye.
The deal to allocate land for the UAE embassy in Dhaka was signed by Bangladeshi Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali and his UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed.
