Banglalink and Facebook come together for digital empowerment of people Launch ‘Learn Internet, See the World’ program

Dhaka, Sept. 5 (NsNewsWire) — Banglalink, one of the leading digital communications service providers in Bangladesh, and Facebook, today announced the launch of ‘Learn Internet, See the World’, a digital empowerment program to enable people of Bangladesh, by providing access to Internet, to use Internet and benefit from it in their daily lives. Built on “train the trainer” model, Learn Internet, See the World program will train 20,000 Banglalink retailers and 4,500 dedicated promoters and will reach out to 20 lac customers over the next two years. The program will provide basic training on the usage and benefits of Internet along with guidance on using Facebook to remain connected with friends and family, explore their interest groups and find ways to leverage the platform for their skills/ business. On the occasion of this launch, customers can avail unlimited Facebook browsing data for 5 days using 19tk scratch card.
