bKash payment accepted at Grameen UNIQLO stores

DHAKA, Jan. 17 (NsNewsWire) — bKash Limited, the country’s leading mobile financial service provider,  has recently signed an agreement with Grameen UNIQLO,  a social business initiative in Bangladesh of Japanese as well as Asia’s No-01 clothing brand UNIQLO,  to facilitate the customers pay through bKash while purchasing clothes from Grameen UNIQLO stores.

Rezaul Hossain, chief commercial officer of bKash,  and Najmul Huq,  managing director of Grameen UNIQLO, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

In 2010, Grameen UNIQLO started journey in Bangladesh. From July 2013, it started to open stores in Dhaka city with the objective of providing comfortable clothing with affordable price.

Now Grameen UNIQLO has eight stores in Dhaka city & gradually store numbers will increase.

According to the agreement, bKash payment will be initially accepted at eight stores of Grameen UNIQLO in Dhaka and all upcoming stores across the country.

The bKash users need to dial *247# to access the bKash menu, then select ‘3’ for the ‘Payment ’ option and then follow the simple interactive steps to  make the payment.

Opening of bKash account is also absolutely free of cost. Any individual having a valid national ID card/passport or driving licence can open a bKash account from bKash’s more than 100,000 agent points across the country

Onishi Suuhei, head of sales, Kawsar Kamrul Hasan, accounts & finance manager, Shoriful Islam,  marketing manager from Grameen UNIQLO, and Golam Anjumanarul Islam, head of business sales, Ahasanul Kabir, channel manager, and A. M. Sirajul Mowla, account manager of bKash, among others, were also present on the occasion.
