British citizen nabbed in Bangladesh capital over suspected IS links‏

A British citizen of Bangladesh origin has been arrested in capital Dhaka on suspicion that he is close to the international militant outfit Islamic State (IS).
Monirul Islam, deputy commissioner of the Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, told journalists that Samiul Rahman aka Ibn Hamdan was nabbed from Dhaka’s central Kamalapur railway station area on Monday morning, reports Xinhua.
The Detective Branch (DB) of Bangladesh Police on Thursday arrested one Hafizur Rahman, 22, from a Dhaka city area for allegedly recruiting members for the IS.

A day before Rahman’s arrest, a DB team also arrested Asif Adnan, 26, and Fazle Elahi Tanzil, 24, who had allegedly been planning to go to Syria through Turkey with the help of a British citizen of Bangladesh origin.

It was not immediately clear whether Hamdan is that British citizen who has been working in Bangladesh to strengthen IS network.
