China calls for “inclusive election” in Bangladesh

DHAKA, Dec. 9 (nsnewswire) — China on Monday called for “holding an inclusive election at an early date for political statblity” in Bangladesh.

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hong Lei made the call on Dec. 9 while replied a question on Bangladesh during a regular press conference.

“As a friendly neighbor of Bangladesh, China sincerely hopes that relevant parties in Bangladesh will put premium on national interests, find a solution acceptable to both through dialogue, hold an inclusive election at an early date and work together for political stability, social tranquility and economic development,” said the Foreign Ministry Spokesman.
