Event marks “Kashmir Youm-e-Istehsal” in Bangladesh capital


An event marking “Kashmir Youm-e-Istehsal” in Bangladesh capital Dhaka has reaffirmed support to the oppressed people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.
The High Commission for Pakistan in Dhaka organized a virtual event Thursday to observe “Youm-e-Istehsal” to express solidarity with the oppressed people of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Pakistan community members as well as media representatives attended the event.
Messages of Hon. President Dr. Arif Alvi, Hon. Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and Hon. Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi were read out on the occasion.
In their messages, the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan reiterated call on the international community to hold India accountable for its illegal actions and crimes against the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) while renewing Pakistan’s commitment to just struggle of the occupied Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination.
The Foreign Minister in his message expressed solidarity with the people of IIOJK and reaffirmed Pakistan’s abiding commitment to the Kashmir cause and its steadfast support to the people of Kashmir until the realization of their inalienable right to self-determination, exercised through free and impartial plebiscite under the auspices of the United Nations, as per the relevant resolutions of the Security Council.
In his video message, the President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan expressed concerns over the Indian plan to change the demographic structure of IIOJK and thanked the people of Bangladesh for raising their voice against Indian actions in IIOJK.
Syed Faiz Naqshbandi Convener, All Parties Hurriyat Conference briefed the meeting on the gross and systematic human rights violations being committed against the Kashmiris by Indian occupation forces. Syed Faiz Naqshbabdi informed that despite large scale persecution, the people of IIOJK remain steadfast their struggle against brutal foreign occupation.
High Commissioner Imran Ahmed Siddiqui in his remarks reiterated the message of the Pakistani leadership, and conveyed Pakistan’s enduring support for the people of IIOJK and their just struggle.
