Bangladesh forex reserves reach $22.31 bln

DHAKA, Jan. 1 (NsNewsWire) — Bangladesh Bank foreign exchange reserves stood at 22,309.80 million U.S. dollars in December after reaching  21,590.04 million U.S. dollars in November, said a central bank official on Thursday.

Reserve hit an all-time high of 22.37 billion U.S. dollars on Dec. 18, reflecting the country’s strength from the economic and financial point of view.


Reserve crossed the 22 billion U.S. dollars mark in the middle of August last year.
