Huawei “Seeds for the Future” 2018 Selection round: 10 Bangladesh talents selected

DHAKA, Aug. 16 (NsNewsWire) — Huawei, world’s leading ICT solutions provider, has recently launched its global flagship CSR program “Seeds for the future” in Bangladesh. The program has successfully been deployed in 5 noted universities of the country and 10 top students have been chosen after the successful selection rounds. The selected students are: Sarah Cynthia Gomes and Rakib Rahman Shawon from Dhaka University, Asif Newaz and Bakhtiar Hasan from IUT (Islamic University of Technology), Nuzhat Nawar and Md. Rakibul Hassan from KUET (Khulna University of Engineering & Technology), Afsana Afrin and Md. Azmain Yakin Srizon from RUET (Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology), and Diba Das and Monirul Islam Miskat from CUET (Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology). Senior faculty of respective departments and expert team from Huawei have acted as jury board in each of these selection rounds. These top talents will be taken to China for exclusive career oriented ICT training and cultural expedition on second week of September, 2018 for two weeks.

 

Starting in 2008, Seeds for the Future has been implemented in 96 countries and international organizations worldwide, benefiting over 30,000 students from 280 universities; among them, more than 2,700 university students have taken a study trip to the Huawei headquarter at Shenzhen, China.

The undergraduate final year top 10 students will be sent to China on 2nd week of September 2018 for two weeks to provide an intensive experience of Chinese technology and culture.
