India@Bangladesh 2.0’ Art Camp

DHAKA, Feb. 13 (NsNewsWire) —  The High Commission of India in collaboration with Jahangirnagar University (Department of Fine Art) is organizing the India@Bangladesh 2.0’ Art Camp, scheduled to be held from 17th February to 19th February, 2018.

 

2.       Fifty artists nominated by universities and specialized art institutions across Bangladesh would participate in the event to be held at the Department of Fine Art, Jahangirnagar University.

 

3.       The participants of the art camp will have four sub-topics to choose from: “ India@70 – India’s Development in the last 70 years”, “Victory of Friendship in Liberation War”, “Dhormo Jaar Jaar, Utshob Shobar”, and “Maitree”. A panel of eminent artists and connoisseurs of art will judge the paintings and prizes will be awarded to the winners.

 

4.       The Prize Distribution Ceremony will be held at 5 pm on 19th February, 2018. Mr. Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Hon’ble High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, has consented to grace the occasion and will distribute the prizes along with Prof. Dr. Farzana Islam, Vice Chancellor, Jahangirnagar University.
