World Raymen celebrates 12th founding anniversary, forms new committee

DHAKA, March 26 (NsNewsWire) — The World Raymen has observed its 12th founding anniversary with a call to serve more people irrespective of cast, color, sex and religion in the coming days.

The anniversary ceremony was held in the city’s ICMAB auditorium on Saturday, March 26.

During the ceremony, members discussed Raymen activities and its future plans to serve people.

Discussion was also held on Bangladesh’s 46th Independence day as the ceremony also aimed at celebrating the foundation day of the country.

Through their discussions the World Raymen (WRM) members paid tribute to the best sons of the soil who sacrificed their lives for emancipation of the country in 1971.

However, the new executive committee of the WRM was constituted at the ceremony

Naim-Ul-Karim, special correspondent and in-charge of Xinhua News Agency’s Bangladesh Bureau Office, and Safiul Azam, an ICMAB professional, were elected president and secretary general respectively of The World Raymen on Saturday for the April 2016-March 2017 term.

The other office-bearers include Vice Presidents Hamidul Islam, Maksud Alam Russell, Towheed Uddin, Abdullahil Kamil Shiblee, Lokman Hossain, Syeda Masuma Akter, Jahangir Alam and
Rahul Roy Choudhury;

Joint Secretaries Mohammad Ismail, Moinuddin Niloy, Mahmudul Hasan Dalton, Mohiuddin Ahmed Shoikat, executive editor of www.breakingnewsbd.com;

Treasurer Nur Mehedi Biplob;

Organizing Secretary Engr. Rupom Razzak, chief executive offer of OS CLiCKS;

Members Saddam Hossain Sajjad, Alamgir Hissain Bhuiyan, Ummaya Saima Tinni, Sheuli Rashid, Amir Hossain and Jewel.

Raymen also reconstituted its advisory council with Abdus Satter Patuary, immediate past secretary general, its chief. The other council members include Advocate Al Mamun, Engineer Forhad Reza and Lutfur Rahman Bhuiyan, an English lecturer at Saudi Arabia’s Jazan University.
