NotunKichu online quiz competition winners receive scholarships

DHAKA, Dec. 15 (NsNewsWire) — 10 lucky winners have received scholarships worth Tk. 1 lakh as well as laptops and smartphones  by participating in the ‘Online Quiz Competition 2015’ organized by NotunKichu dotcom.

The Tk. 1 lakh scholarship as well as laptops were sponsored by the State University of Bangladesh (SUB). Smartphones were awarded by online education portal Shikhenin dotcom. SUB  Treasurer Major General (Retd.)  M A Shahjahan, Registrar Professor A Y M Ikram Ud Dowla and representatives from sponsor organizations were also present. Md. Mashiur Rahman received a laptop and a scholarship worth Tk. 50,000 as the first prize.

The second and third place holders, Afsana Shwarna and Mohammad Touheed received a smartphone each as well as
scholarships worth Tk. 30,000 and Tk. 20,000 respectively. Moreover, Washiul Islam, Naznin Kabir Sadia, Raju, Mohammad Parvez, M D Riyad Hussain, Mahfuzul Haque and Adnan each received a smartphone. Alongside the award ceremony, a cultural program was also held where talented students of SUB as well as guest artists performed songs, dances as well as mimes.

The two month long competition saw participation from over 12,000 participants. 976 contestants were chosen among which 100 were selected through lottery who then participated in the final round of the contest as well as the Award ceremony.
