Reception in Tashkent on the occasion of celebrating 48th Independence and National Day of Bangladesh
Tashkent, March 29 (NsNewsWire) — Reception by Bangladesh Embassy in Tashkent held on the occasion of celebrating 48th Independence and National Day of Bangladesh.
The Embassy of Bangladesh in Tashkent held the reception on the occasion of the 48thIndependence and National Dayof Bangladesh on 28 March 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Tashkent Hotel. Chief guest of the event Minister of Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, H. E. Jamshid Khodjaev and Special Guests Deputy Foreign Minister H. E. Abdujabbor Abduvakhitov, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Russian Federation to Uzbekistan H.E. Vladimir Turdenev honoured the event with theirpresence. The National Anthems of Bangladesh and Uzbekistan were played.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Uzbekistan H.E. Mosud Mannan ndc, delivered his speech emphasizing the history of the Independence of Bangladesh and paying rich tribute to the valiant freedom fighters and martyrs, who made supreme sacrifice for the cause of the Independence of Bangladesh in 1971. The Ambassador reminded the audience about the clarion call made by Hon’ble Prime Minister in materializing the dream of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Building the golden Bangladesh and becoming a developed country within 2041. He also mentioned about Bangladesh’s recent graduation to the level of Developing Country.
Documentary film on “Trade and Business Development of Bangladesh” was also screened. An exhibition on Jewelry and metallic handicraft of Bangladesh was displayed at the foyer of the hotel.
A good number of heads of diplomatic missions, rectors, teachers, businessman, media personalities,cultural personalities, journalists and Bangladeshi community attended the reception. Press Release
