SSC exams begin amid BNP’s blockade

Dhaka, Feb 6 (NsNewsWire) — The SSC and equivalent examinations began on Friday morning across the country amid tension over political violence as the indefinite blockade by the BNP-led 20-party alliance continues.
The exam  began at 9:00am amid tight security enforced by law enforcers across the country.
According to a reliable sources,  the government, meanwhile, deployed 326 platoons of BGB (about 10,000) members across the country to ensure safety of the examinees.
A total of 14,79,266 students are scheduled to  take part in the exams under 10 education boards.
