Uber teams up with Grameenphone to launch in Dhaka

DHAKA, Nov. 22 (NsNewsWire) — Uber, the smartphone app that has transformed urban mobility for millions across the world, has teamed up with Bangladesh’s largest cell phone operator Grameenphone to launch its operation in Dhaka.

The world’s largest on-demand mobility platform will be available in Dhaka from (today) Tuesday to offer safe, reliable and affordable rides at the push of a button while opening up flexible, economic opportunities for driver-partners, said the company in a statement.
