Rescurers retrive 37 bodies after Bangladesh ferry capsizes in Padma River

DHAKA, Feb. 22 (NsNewsWire) —  At least 37 bodies have been recovered after a ferry with about 100 passengers sank on Sunday afternoon  in the middle of Padma river in northwestern Manikganj district,  some 63 km  from Dhaka after it was hit by a goods laden cargo tanker.
Most of the passengers managed to swim ashore shortly the ferry– MV Mostafa — capsized at about 12:00 pm local time.

There are no official figures on missing persons
