Bangladeshi students depart for Pakistan under Allama Iqbal scholarships

The second batch of 22 Bangladeshi students departed for Pakistan today. High Commissioner Imran Haider was present at Shahjalal Airport Dhaka to see them off, said a statement.
The students seemed excited about pursuing studies in Pakistan and described the scholarship programme as a valuable opportunity to realise their academic aspirations. They thanked the Government and people of Pakistan for this generous and vital opportunity to receive fully funded quality education.

It is worth mentioning that yesterday, 42 students had left for Pakistan under the Second Phase of Pakistan Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor (Allama Iqbal Scholarships Program).
These students will pursue Undergraduate, Master’s and PhD degrees in leading universities in Pakistan.
